2008.10.29 Responding to Climate Change in New Jersey

A panel of speakers from government, utilities and businesses, education, and community groups presented projects that are making a difference in the State’s energy sustainability.

Speakers included:

• Kenny Esser, Energy Policy Advisor to Governor Corzine
• Bill Walsh, Director of State Public Affairs for PSEG
• John Cusack, Executive Director of The New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability
• Pam Mount, Past President of Sustainable Lawrence
• Rick Dovey, President of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority

A networking reception followed the presentations. The event was free and open to the public. It was resented by the Leadership in Public Affairs program and supported by the Committee for Cultural and Intellectual Community at TCNJ.

About 80 people turned out, roughly half from the TCNJ community and half from surrounding areas.

An article about the event from TCNJ’s paper The Signal is available.

A complete audio podcast (mp3 file) of the event is available for downloading.

A couple of photos from the reception follow.
